I never thought much about doing a 30 day challenge but when I discovered something that I really wanted to work on, I decided to challenge myself for the sake of personal development. Out of this desire, I challenged myself to pursue solar plexus chakra empowerment for 30 days in a row.

Why I Decided On Solar Plexus Chakra Empowerment

For all of my life I have been self-conscious. I would worry about what others thought about my appearance, my actions, the way I talked, the way I walked, everything.

This consistent worry hindered me from doing a lot of things. It mainly prevented me from outwardly expressing who I truly was.

So my worry was: What would people think of my true self if they experienced me in my full expression? Would they like me or would they not like me?

This was a crippling fear. So not too long ago I decided I wanted to change this. I thought what would I need to improve in order to no longer be self-conscious?

While I was doing my research it hit me: solar plexus chakra empowerment. Ah ha! I took a look at the ‘symptoms’ of a deficient solar plexus chakra and found that it could be the following:

  • Low energy
  • Lacking motivation
  • Weak will
  • Low self-esteem
  • Unreliable
  • Victim mentality

Since I had some of those ‘symptoms’, I decided that I can take a metaphysical approach to help solve my issue.

The solar plexus chakra rules self-confidence, self-esteem, and willpower so empowering it should help improve my personal situation. Perfect.

Yoga Has an Effect on Your Chakras

Alongside my research, I also discovered that doing yoga poses not only help you relax but they can clear and empower chakras as well.

So with this knowledge, I did some research on which yoga poses can help with my solar plexus chakra empowerment. I found the following, all which work out the core:

Routine for my 30 Day Challenge

Armed with the knowledge that I needed to empower my solar chakra, I decided that I should follow a routine. I gave myself 30 days to work on my solar chakra and then see how I felt after that.

I constructed my routine so that it included both spiritual aspects (Meditation) as well as physical aspects (Yoga). This would be more beneficial than doing one or the other alone.

Of course the sessions would take longer than just doing one or the other alone but working on my solar chakra both physically and spiritually would be an all-around solution.

Routine

  • Wheel Pose
  • Bridge Pose
  • Boat Pose
  • Extended Feet Pose
  • Cobra Pose

For each of the yoga poses, I held the pose for a certain number of breaths. When I first started, I would hold each pose for 15 breaths. As time progressed, I increased the number of breaths from 15 breaths to 20 breaths to 25 breaths.

Some poses I increased all the way to 25 while others remained at 20 breaths.

  • Chakra Meditation

For the Chakra Meditation, I used a version of a meditation that I learned for clearing chakras. The meditation pulled energy up from the Earth through your entire body and each of the chakras.

With each breath, you pull the energy up. So in order to work solely on the solar plexus chakra, instead of pulling energy up from the Earth, I pull surrounding energy straight into my solar chakra.

For my routine, I did this for around 35 breaths.

  • Focus on Energy

After my routine is complete, I sit still and meditate on my solar chakra. I do the best I can to visualize it growing in brightness and intensity.

It’s important to note here that as I am visualizing, I am also feeling my solar chakra growing in power.

Notes

In total, the routine takes about 15 minutes to complete. It could be more or less depending on how long or short your breaths are.

Keep in mind, for breathing energy into your chakra, the longer the breath is then the more time you have to bring energy into your chakra.

Steady breaths are more beneficial than shorts breaths but I never overdo it. I make sure that my breaths are comfortable and I do not strain myself.

 

Results from Solar Plexus Chakra Empowerment

Before Empowering my Solar Chakra

Before I began working on my solar chakra, I was very self-conscious. I constantly worried about my self-image and what people thought of me.

I wouldn’t like talking to anybody because I was afraid my voice would sound weird or I might say something that made me look bad. For the same reason, wouldn’t engage in any conversation either.

This left me without the ability to socialize well.

After the 30 Day Challenge

During the 30 days of this routine, I noticed that empowering my solar chakra was starting to take effect. The effects were subtle but they were still there.

After the 30 days of following my routine, I noticed that I was less worried about how others perceived me and I was more confident in my interactions with others.

As a result I am able to socialize easier with others. I actually found myself wanting to engage with others and involve myself in group activities.

This was a definite sign that my solar plexus chakra empowerment had actually taken effect.

It’s been about 4 days since I have finished this 30 day challenge and the effects are still manifesting. It is like the energy has to build up momentum and doesn’t fully manifest until after the round is complete.

Whatever you see during the round is just the results beginning to manifest.

Go ahead and take the routine that I have provided and adjust it to your personal needs and abilities. For the number of breaths on the yoga poses, do as many as you comfortably can.

It can be as little as 3 to 5 breaths or even more than I did – just make sure that you are comfortable doing that number of breaths. The same goes for breathing energy into your chakra.
